The Sugar Tax comes into force tomorrow

The Sugar Tax comes into force tomorrow. Evidence shows that this levy has the potential to prevent obesity in up to 140,000 adults and children each year and, in turn, prevent nearly 19,000 cases of Type 2 diabetes.

LANCASHIRE LIFESAVERS - LEARN TO BE A LIFESAVER

Today Lancashire County Council is launching our Lancashire lifesavers campaign along with BBC Radio Lancashire and the North West Ambulance Service. Our aim is to train up to 2,500 people in CPR life-saving skills. Free sessions will run in April and May.
